All summer long Ella asked to go Lizard hunting with her friend Jake. Jake has experience in Lizard hunting and is lizard owner himself, so he was the perfect friend for her hunt. Finally the day came for the Lizard hunt adventure. We picked up Jake and off we went in search of the perfect lizard...
Once we arrived at our destination we were on the path about 5 seconds when a lizard ran right in front of us! The kids were in heaven! The hunt was on! The two lizard hunters found about five lizards of all sizes, but were never able to catch any as those are fast little creatures!

So, Ella may be turning into this gal....
... but don't expect me to be turning into this gal any time soon!!!
After the hunt we went to the nature center museum to cool off and check out all the creatures they had there.
Speaking of nature center... we go there so often, I finally decided to buy an annual pass to the park. When we got there we learned that people with disabilities get almost half off the price.. so it was only $30 with unlimited access to all the El Dorado parks and nature center for a year. Just a fun FYI to our wheelchair using friends.
