Last week we spent a few days in San Diego at a resort called Paradise Point. It was super kid/family friendly and we were very impressed with how accessible it is. A huge bonus for us!
It was beautiful there on the water and the sunsets were amazing!
On one of the days we rented wave runners and rode all around the island. It was the kids first time riding on one and they loved it!
Bryant I took turns with what kids we had. When it was just Ella and I we went full speed, jumping wakes, screaming and laughing, it was awesome....
until we got lost.
I got so turned around and could not figure out where our hotel was.
There we were in the middle of the water not sure what direction to go, when Ella said "mom, stop, let's say a prayer." Ella said the sweetest prayer and then when she finished she said "I think we should go that way" and when she pointed I agreed and felt like that was the right way too, but before we prayed I was about ready to turn around and go an opposite way.
So grateful for the prayer and faith of a sweet little seven year old. Also, so thankful to know, once again, that our prayers are heard and answered.

We spent a lot of time playing around the resort as it had a lot to offer.
Fun pools, treats, mini golf, bikes and......
even dead fish!
Our good friends/cousins came too and it was fun to have a bon fire with them one night. The hotel is right on the bay that also has fire pits, just right outside the rooms. It was awesome!
One happy smore making guy!

Bryant found a cool place to have breakfast one morning in Mission Bay. It was super yummy.
After breakfast we came back and rode this fun bike all over the resort. The kids favorite part was when dad found a hill to peddle (with all our might) up and then we flew down it! The kids laughed forever!
It was a great trip over all... until this little guy started to get sick on our last day. We think he just swallowed a little too much pool water because after about two hours he was back to his old self again... but by that time we were almost home! Regardless, it was a great trip and always so fun to just be with the kids having a great time together as a family.
