Last Summer we spent a few days in Mission Bay as our last fun adventure before school started!
We stayed at the Hyatt on Mission Bay and we highly recommend it! It was very family friendly!
The first day we spent in Old Town San Diego and had a blast at The Mormon Battalion
Mormon or not, this is a great place for families to visit! A live, interactive tour had the kids holding on to every word the sweet tour guide said! The kids got to dress up, pan for gold and learn more about the Battalion. The best part of this event is that everything is free... including the fun family picture! My kids loved it so much they can't wait to go back next Summer!
Carter and Jake all dressed up in Battalion gear!
The kids LOVED panning for gold! Especially Ella who is a rock and gem enthusiast.
We loved our room at the Hyatt over looking the bay! We woke up to the sound of seals barking every morning and the kids loved it!
At breakfast before boating
The hotel had boats right off the dock available to rent.
The kids were so excited to take the boat out and go tubing!
Fun in the Sun!
We all took turns being thrown around on the tube! Our friend Nate did a great job driving the boat and made sure we all had a safe and fun time!
Back at the pool! The pools at the hotel are awesome! We spent hours swimming, going down the slides and playing games that they had on the pool deck!
These guys were almost always found at the slides coming up with fun and funny new ways to slide down!
Another fun part of the hotel, are the fire pits where we could roast s'mores at night!
Such a fun trip with such fun friends!
