Ella at O'neill

This week Ella had an awesome opportunity to go take a tour of O'neill and meet some of the designers. One of the designers is a friend and blog reader. She read a while back that Ella has an interest in fashion and so she invited her to come spend an afternoon at O'Neill. 

 

We were both super excited for this opportunity and used it as a great excuse for a girls day out!

She is one of the designers and I can not thank her enough for her generous invite. She took the time out of her busy day to give us the most amazing tour. She was so good to explain to Ella all that goes on from start to finish to turn a design into a reality. She is so awesome and so talented and SO NICE!

One of our first stops was in the photography room where they were actually in the middle of a photo shoot with a model!!

While the model was changing the sweetest photographer showed Ella her camera...

... and then let her take a few pictures of the model!! 

She was in heaven. 

(and for the record, BRIGHT red. The model may or may not have been a guy who may or may not have had his shirt off because he was modeling jeans)!!

 O'Neill also owns a few other companies, including Rusty. 

 The place was huge and awesome! Hallways lined with amazing art and posters signed by famous surfers.

 oh, just skateboard ramps down the hallways, that's all.

 and a basketball gym for the employees to shoot hoops on their lunch break!

 She gave Ella three shirts and Ella was SO excited!

After our awesome tour we got to go shopping at the O'Neill outlet where Ella picked out even more goodies!

It was SUCH an awesome afternoon! A HUGE thank you to Pam who is amazing!! 

Now Ella is even more interested in the fashion world and has been feeling like such a (what she calls) fashionista this week!
